Hayley orrantia is a native of America. Her main focus is actor, however she is also an acrobat and songwriter. She is most famous for her role as Erica Goldberg from the TV comedy show "The Goldbergs". She is, however, a music lover. She maintains that music is the first thing that interests her. It's something she has been dabbling in since the age of nine years old. When she reached the age of 12, her music took on a serious nature and she started training professionally. As a teenager, she started writing her own music. Her first cover album didn't come out until 14 years later. The music has never stopped ever since. Orrantia is an American native who has Hispanic roots. Though she grew up speaking solely English and has never lived in Mexico she is very proud of her Hispanic roots. In her pursuit of learning Spanish and composing songs, she is trying to maintain the spirit of her culture. "Hasta Verte" which is a song with Spanish lyrics that she's recorded is an example. Orrantia was selected to audition for the X Factor's inaugural season, which aired in summer 2011. Orrantia got selected from an YouTube video submission and received 4 "yes" no votes by the judge at the time of live auditions in Seattle, Washington. The first time she auditioned, she was for "Hollywood Week" in a one-on-one capacity. However, three other women singers and she were brought together for auditions of other tracks. They were eventually eliminated at the conclusion of the fifth performance.
