Taylor Momsen was born in St. Louis, Missouri. She is an American singer/songwriter/model/actress. She is best known for her part as Jenny Humphrey on the CW series Gossip Girl and as the leader of the rock group The Pretty Reckless. Momsen's songs have been featured in the film and television series such as How to Be a Single and Going the Distance. The younger sister of Taylor Momsen Sloane Momsen also works as an actor. The Center of Creative Arts is where she studied dance. In the age of three years old, Momsen was a professional actor in a Shake 'n Bake commercial for national television. Momsen's career in the industry was put off for three years, until she landed the leading role in Misconceptions. At the same time, Momsen appeared in the movie Saving Shiloh.
